Old Step Through Raleigh

I wrote that dad and I talked about stuff at around 3 or 4 o’clock while I was eating a sandwich.  Later while typing I was distracted.  I had sent my friend some emails about the ride—routing and notes—but she was still on her way back from Alameda.  We discussed her roommate’s sublet and how I might contribute.  I also was preoccupied with my interaction with SF Park people.

I had sent some messages to my older sister during this period but it turned out she was only in town for a day.  I noted that I had finished typing and had dinner.  The parents had already finished.  Mom had made some pea soup to which I had added mushrooms and broccoli.  I ate quite a bit of candy and ended up sitting with the parents in the living room.

I returned to the room and started looking at my taxes.  I was chatting with my friend for a bit and at some point had to get my waste paper basket in the patio.  That was when I found my older sister waiting at the gate.  I went back and continued to look through my papers and discussed my income with my friend.  I quit at some point because it had become difficult to understand.  I sat at the table upstairs with my older sister and mom coloring mom’s mandala book.  We left mom to her ancestry show around 11.

I awoke from a dream at 4.  I was rolling down a big hill trying to maneuver around three cars.  An oncoming light pick-up, a heavy one passing and a van merging from my side of the road.  I clipped the oncoming pickup and ended up screaming at myself for it.  I threw my bike—an old step through Raleigh.

I lay tweeting and listened to BtS.  I was up at 545 and began my day.  I discovered I had no cash at Lakeside.  The lights between the Santiago-Sunset intersection and Ulloa-19th seemed synchronized.  I got to DC and transferred fine.  I had been thinking that I want to leave my bike at DC from now on.

This is an occasional series chronicling my life. This Notebook Analysis series is meant to be contemporaneous piece developed as an agglomeration of my notebook pages. In each of these posts I used my notes to develop my recent thoughts.
