Right after the period covering the last
post I received an email from the most recent ex-girlfriend. Ironic how many girlfriends I had during this
period since I always felt that I was single.
We, apparently, were working through our differences.
Up to this point I was communicating a
lot with another girlfriend in Virginia about whether she would come to visit
California. Meanwhile, my old roommates
had been traveling a lot. In an ironic
twist one of the roommates was living in the town that I had visited with the
old girlfriend. I sent poetry back and
forth to them through much of December.
I also sent a number of emails to the professor in charge of my upcoming
trip to China. This is rather exciting
since it was really my first trip out of the country. My Southern California friend and I
communicated a little about our Christmas plans. I figured that he would go home to the
foothills but we saw each other eventually.
