On the eleventh of February I wrote that
the night before I had made plans with different friends for Wednesday night
and learned that another was not available that evening so decided to stay in. I finished writing and quit. I interacted with the parents a bit and then
spent the rest of the night watching TV.
On the morning of the day that I wrote
this I was up at 10 and saw the cross-bore guys outside. At Java Beach I learned that my friend was
planning a ride in April and we organized it for the eleventh and I
posted it and a bunch of other stuff to Twitter and FB. I saw my old coworker—a cross-bore guy—and asked
him about the project. He had not been
contacted by the recruiter and had taken over another guy’s job when he got
moved over. He said that his company had
about 140 workers. I told him about my work
back ground and he said that my old coworker in the other division had gone to Morocco and his coworkers had had a party at his place for the Super Bowl while he was
out. I went home and explained cross-bore
to dad and he was outraged.
This is an occasional series chronicling my life. This
Notebook Analysis series is meant to
be contemporaneous piece developed as an agglomeration of my notebook pages. In
each of these posts I used my notes to develop my recent thoughts.
