Ride Of Silence Participants

I said bye to the boss as I left work for RWC and it was a breeze because I mentioned my trip to ID. I made the apartment by 445. I parked outside and saw the roommate when I called my friend. I went to Box Dog but the bike was still getting done. I sat at thieves and noted that the beer was good. Later I rode to Sports Basement, locked up and climbed to the main floor but back to the bike floor because of the memorial. I bought tools and saw a local journalist. I went to the cashier.

Outside I saw some Ride Of Silence participants. I went down to the memorial and had a beverage. I saw an acquaintance and descended to the back door. We lined up with our police escort but I ran up to gather the people that were in the front of the building.

The cops started rolling and as we stopped to place flowers in memorial at the freeway, Sixth and Folsom, Second and Bryant, the cars got stopped and buzzered by the cops. People handed out flyers. I got a lot of pics of the bay bridge and the ferry building. We went to Sutter and Market- a spot I remembered from the year before. We went to City Hall. where I got some great pictures.  After stopping at Octavia and Markrt we went to four places in the Mission.

At the final stop near Rainbow I went to the meetup location and locked up. I said bye to a few people. Initially I asked about a table after we had ordered but an organizer got us the back room. I sat then with a lot of new people as well as a few that I only vaguely knew. I sat with an organizer talking about my carreer and interests.  I noted that I wanted to start an editing concern. I left then and rode to the apartment, where I got ready for my trip to ID and went to bed exhausted at midnight.

In the morning my friend went to coffee. We were there writing and talking until it was time to go and to BART.  I noted that the shuttle was interesting because it seemed like a roller coaster. Security went well. My friend’s brother appeared and we played with his family.

I sent a photo of the ladies to the parents and them and then sat through pre board until my friend approached. We boarded and I had to find a seat until the lady next to us arrived. She had nice earrings and read the whole time. I had a whisky. There was turbulence near Sacramento. I drew a cartoon. I was writing and talking crazy about a family foundation.

I ran out of the plane first and waited alone in the terminal. We anticipated the car being near to our terminal and it was. At Whole Foods we broke up and I tried to get stuff but gave up and had coffee. I looked for a charge converter. We got in the car about four o'clock but the baby needed to stop. I typed through Ogden on the i15.

We rode for awhile while I was writing and I noticed that we had been traveling through the Wasatch mountains. The roads became less dangerous as we moved along. We climbed through volcanic tablelands. It was cloudy and we anticipated rain as we approached the pass. It rained until just outside Pocatello where we stopped for dinner. It was around 650 and my friend and I went in while the rest parked. I had the Belgian. We got pizza and my freind’s brother in law had a meal that didn’t do a burrito justice. We stopped outside of Blackfoot. Then passed through Idaho Falls.

This is an occasional series chronicling my life. This Notebook Analysis series is meant to be contemporaneous piece developed as an agglomeration of my notebook pages. In each of these posts I used my notes to develop my recent thoughts.
