Background in Common

On 100114 I wrote that I had sent a message to a friend in the afternoon and so just left at five and boarded at PHill.  I had forgotten a pen so didn’t work on the notes.  I got off at Embarcadero and went to CVS.  I went to the bank and got my bike.  I went to Iron Cactus and checked with her again.  I got us some food and when she got in we talked.  The A’s had been behind but they caught up.

We rushed off to get to the fundraiser because we were late.  When we arrived we bumped into a guy I had met before.  The host and hostess allowed us park inside.  There were only a few people—15 about.  We were getting to know each other when the hostess, supervisor and campaign manager began discussing their campaign.  A few people came in during the discussion.

There were a number of people I knew—planners, open streets organizers and transportation directors.  I later discovered that the hostess and I had some work back ground in common.  It was around then that my companion wanted to leave so we said goodbye.  I had made a donation.  As we rode away we talked about social media and agreed to meet up for other events.  I rode the Wiggle to Page and got home at 10 and posted.  I sent a recruiter my resume and was in bed at 12.  My buddy had texted me that he was interested in going with me to the galleries.

This is an occasional series chronicling my life. This Notebook Analysis series is meant to be contemporaneous piece developed as an agglomeration of my notebook pages. In each of these posts I used my notes to develop my recent thoughts.
