On January 12, 2021, I wrote that the night before I went to bed late and knew I would pay for in the morning. I woke at 6:30 and was out the door at 7:05. I made the ferry just in time.
I drank tea and at Larkspur I eight a pastry and tweeted sunrises as I shooed a bird away.
SMART was ready to go but I rode Cal Park tunnel anyway and caught the train at San Rafael. The ride was quick.
At Petaluma I got coffee and sat in the open air. Then I went to Petaluma café and tea and saw a personality I knew from Geobeers. We chatted for a while and he bought me a coffee. I sat in the park later and watched people.
I rode down Petaluma Boulevard taking time to get photos of Haystack. The frontage was all right but a bit under protected. The San Antonio Creek freeway underpass clearly floods but it was dry when I rode through. I took photos there and at Olompali before rushing to meet an acquaintance at a café in Novato.
I caught the train then and got off at Larkspur where I waited briefly for the boat home.
This is an occasional series chronicling my life. This Notebook Analysis series is meant to be contemporaneous piece developed as an agglomeration of my notebook pages. In each of these posts I used my notes to develop my recent thoughts.
